Space planning is an important part of the interior design process. As design professionals, we work to define interior spaces, ensure appropriate traffic flow and plan layouts for furniture and architectural elements. Professional decorating services include help with color, furnishings, furniture layout and accessories. We also help with window treatments and different types of shades, blinds and shutters. Together with the homeowner, we create a plan to update existing spaces or in the case of new construction, new spaces. 

We provide semi-custom and custom solutions depending on the homeowner's needs and budget. In addition to soft treatments, we also work with woven blinds, cell shades and shutters. We can dress windows from contemporary to the very traditional. All samples are brought to the home to ensure proper matching to the space.

Working together with homeowners and the builder, SWI·Designs will help customers make all the decisions involved in the new construction building process. From the initial planning stages to the selection of finishes, we provide professional guidance throughout the process, offering resources and solutions to capitalize on the investment that a new home is. Our ability to read and interpret construction documents helps homeowners understand what their final product will be.

An in-home or virtual design consultation can be scheduled, typically in 2-3 hour increments, at the homeowner's residence. This is an opportunity for the homeowner to discuss ideas/concerns and to receive professional advice and direction for a myriad of projects. From "how much should we spend" to "how can we make this space work better", SWI·Designs brings years of knowledge and expertise to help answer design questions.
